Sackets Harbor Brewing Company operates one of New YorkState’s oldest continuing microbreweries featuring both a working brewery and dining establishment. Formed in 1995, Sackets Harbor Brewing Company has slowly grown to become a household name throughout the region and Northeast beer industry.
Located in historic Sackets Harbor, NY, and situated on the shore of LakeOntario, the brewery occupies the former New York Central Railroad Station building and retains most of its original detail. The dining room and outside deck boast expansive views of the lake and sunsets. The five star restaurant offers fine dining and upscale pub fare that is paired with a rotating selection of over fifteen original craft beers brewed on-site.
Since first opening its doors in 1995, demand for a number of Sackets Harbor Brewing Company’s craft beers grew and outpaced the ability of the Brew Pub brewery to meet this demand. Thus in 1998, Sackets Harbor Brewing Company began contracting regional brewers to produce our War of 1812 Amber Ale for wholesale distribution in bottles and kegs. In 1999, Thousand Islands Pale Ale commenced commercial production in bottles and kegs. Today, Olde Saratoga Brewing Company in Saratoga Springs, NY, brews both labels for Sackets Harbor Brewing Company for distribution in both kegs and bottles throughout the region. Olde Saratoga works painstakingly close with our master brewers to ensure our contracted production matches our recipes and taste profiles originally developed at our brewery in Sackets Harbor.
Sackets Harbor Brewing Company continues to plan for the future, including commercial production and distribution of additional original recipes, an expansion of the restaurant, and possibly our own bottling plant.
