War of 1812 Amber Ale

Our War of 1812 Amber Ale (or “1812 Amber”) was awarded a Silver Medal in the World Beer Championships in the Amber Ale category for 1998 and is our flagship ale. It has a nutty malt flavor which is balanced by a citrus hop flavor and a classic ale fruitiness. We distribute this ale on draft and in bottles throughout Northern & Central New York.


Grant's Golden Ale

Color: pale straw
Body: thin

Grant’s Golden Ale is our award winning American Cream Ale. Finished with a lager yeast, Grant’s Golden is brewed with malted barley but with adjuncts of corn or rice.  Hopped with cascade and Pearle hops, Grant’s Golden is pale straw in color. Well carbonated and well attenuated, it is fermented warm and lagered at 32 degrees for 5 weeks. Grant’s Golden is a smooth yet snappy cream ale.


Thousand Island Pale Ale

Color: light amber
Body: low
Aroma: hoppy, piney, and citrusy

Of British origin, this style is now popular worldwide and the use of local ingredients, or imported, produces variances in character from region to region. Our Thousand Island Pale Ale is brewed with pale malt and crystal malts, and hopped with Chinook, centennial, and Amarillo hops, all grown in the Northwest United States.


Harbor Wheat

Color: pale and cloudy
Body: light
Aroma: citrusy

A Belgian Style ale that's very pale and cloudy in appearance due to it being unfiltered and the high level of wheat that's used in the mash. The crispness and slight twang comes from the wheat and the lively level of carbonation. This great wheat beer soon to be released in bottles and kegs is an unfiltered Belgian styled wit beer brewed with Belgian malt and wheat and spiced with coriander and orange peel with a touch of noble hops.


Battlefield Brown

Color: mahogany/brown
Body: medium
Aroma: malty/nutty

Battlefield brown is English style brown ale, big and malty. Brewed with English pale, brown, and crystal malts, and a little German Munich malt, hopped with fuggles and Chinook hops to give it a smooth hop bite and a nice finish.


Saint Stephen's Stout

Color: Rich Chocolate in color

Aroma: malt, hints of chocolate

St. Stephens Stout is an award winning traditional Irish stout. Brewed with roasted barley flake to enhance the oatmeal texture and hearty flavor. Award winning chocolate malt give this brew its rich color and a hint of freshly ground coffee flavor.


Ontario Oktoberfest

Color: relish amber

Octoberfest (marzan) is a beer brewed in celebration. It was traditionally brewed in the month of March at the end of the brewing season. Then left to cold condition over the warm summer months when it was to hot to brew beer. At the end of summer it was pulled out of holding and drank in the last weeks of September, in celebration of the new brewing season in October.


Featherhammer

Color: light golden

Our Featherhammer is a lager style Maibock beer. This delightful brew is a pale version of a traditional bock and frequently associated with springtime and the month of May. It is a clear lager, deep gold to light amber in color, with a large, creamy, persistent white head, and moderate to moderately high carbonation. The flavor is typically less malty than a traditional bock, and may be drier, hoppier, and more bitter, but still with a relatively low hop flavor, with a mild spicy or peppery quality from the hops or alcohol content.


Munich Helles

Color: light golden

Munich helles (munich-hell-us) is a German style lager produced in the area of Munich. This style falls into the bock family, and is the palest in color ours is brewed with German pilsner and munich malt, and a little wheat to lighten the body , and hopped with German pearle, tettnaung and hersbruker hops, fermented at 50 for two weeks and lagered at 32 for three days.


Black River Lager

Black river lager is a German style Swartz bier (black), brewed with German pilsner, Vienna and caramel malts, and roasted malts: we hop it with German Pearle, and
ii-lill.leil Ue helps, and ferr,lellieLi -wvid, a Gei plan style lager yeast. we ferment it at 50 degrees for two weeks then lager it at 32 for four weeks for a smooth crisp beer.


Lake Effect Lager

Color: golden/straw

Aroma: malt/spicy hop

Lake Effect Lager is a German-style pilsner - crisp and easy to drink with a nice malt flavor and a spicy hop nose.


Barstool Bitters

Color: lite copper
Body: low
Aroma: hoppy

Barstool Bitters is a traditional English style bitters. Bitters are considered more of a session beer, low on alcohol, body and, carbonation. We brew our Barstool Bitters using English marris otter malt, and pale crystal malt and bittered with U.S. warrior with late additions of fuggles, centennial, armarillo.



Saison de Sackets

Color: straw/pale

Aroma: spicey/hoppy

A saison is a Belgium farmhouse style of beer brewed in small country breweries. During the spring saisons were brewed to get them through the summer months for they were to warm to make beer. We brew Saison de Sackets with Belgian malts, candy sugar and yeast and then hop it with saaz and Pearle and spiced with peppercorns and grains of paridise to produce a spicy complex beer.

Bay Harbor Bock (lager)

Color: mahogany
Body: medium
Aroma: malt

Bay harbor bock is a German style lager. Brewed with German malts and noble hops from the same area. Fermented cool (48) for three weeks and conditioned (32) for four weeks, resulting in a smooth clean drinking beer.


Sackets Dubble

Color: light amber
Body: medium
Aroma: malty, nutty, spicy
Alcohol %/v: 7.3

Sackets Dubble is a rich Belgian-style malty beer with some spicy / phenolic and mild alcohol characteristics. Not as much fruitiness as the Belgian Strong Dark Ale but some dark fruit aromas and flavors may be present. Mild hop bitterness with no lingering hop flavors, Sackets Dubble is light amber, and a triple is straw-to-golden in color. Our dubble is brewed with Belgian pale and Vienna and aromatic malts, and Belgian candy sugar, and hopped with Pearle, and saaz.


Scotchtoberfest

Color: deep garnet
Body: medium-full
Aroma: malty dark fruit
Alcohol %/v: 7.5

Scotchtobertest is a strong scotch ale, which are clean and malty. Scothtoberfest is fermented cooler then most ales then lagered for a longer period so to smooth and round it self off.


Cape Vincent Vienna

Color: light amber
Body: medium
Aroma: malt

Vienna is a German style lager, light orange-to-medium amber in color mild bitterness balanced with the malt.  Malt aroma dominates bready sweet.
